Camera Dollars

By Anthony Chatfield
When you start working from home, the obvious options seem to be limited. You can create a website with an affiliate program, write your own product, or try to piece together a collection of paid surveys, small articles, and other programs that provide you with small income sources.

This is why Brian Moore's Camera Dollars system is such an intriguing new concept that few people have previously considered. Moore has been using the system himself for well over 2 years though, using his digital camera to make a full time living working from home as a freelance photographer.

The problem with most books on the market today is that they provide this same information in a dated format. With the nature of technology and the Internet's growth in the last decade, information older than last year is too old to be useful in making a living as a photographer.

Luckily Moore uses his own techniques and updates the book as he makes changes to his own methods.

First Impressions
In the past, the same kind of job was reserved for those who could afford expensive, high end camera equipment and had a bit of training to use it. Moore shows you how to take your $250 digital camera and use it to take photos and make money with it. It's a great concept really and he writes it well, showing how much practice he has with the technology and the concepts.

Upon initial investigation of the eBook, I found a well written, well outlined book that describes how to make residual income from digital photographs, why the market is exploding, where to be as it continues growing, and what tips and tricks you should use to get a better fee for your photographs.

I will be honest and admit that I have never been the greatest photographer. However, after reading Camera Dollars, I feel like I could probably be as successful if not more so than many of the freelance photographers working today. Moore's book is straightforward and easy enough to read that I don’t feel like I could truly make any mistakes.

Of course, no freelance photographer could be truly successful without the information needed to find the right market and sell photos to that market. Moore includes the vast collection of resources he's been able to build up since he first started his career in photography, listing the best ways to submit a photo, how to find who needs them, and which sources are most often purchasing digital photos, as well as who pays the highest among those sources.

In addition, he goes on to describe how to make multiple streams of income – that magic phrase that all at-home workers want to hear. It's actually rather impressive, especially today with so many fluff filled ebooks being released every day, to find a writer who was willing to sit down and provide literally every aspect of a profitable business niche online.

That's what Moore does though and as a non-photographer, even I can see how someone with a little experience behind the camera and with the right interest in the field could go on to make a large sum of money with these techniques.

The Bottom Line
This is truly the guidebook you need to get into the field. Only a small handful of other eBooks even try to present the same information and they are not nearly as complete or as compellingly written as Moore's. If you have a question, send off a quick email and the website's service staff gets back to you quickly and with the right answer, not just another empty form. It's a real product, with real results, and that's impressive in today's eBook market.
